Moving from FileMaker
Read your FileMaker layouts and portals straight from the FileMaker Data API.
If your products, suppliers, accounts or packing history live in a FileMaker solution, Zamilo can read them directly instead of through exported spreadsheets.
Connect
On Settings -> Import from FileMaker, enter your FileMaker Server address, the database and an account that may use the Data API. Zamilo lists the layouts that account can see.
Map and check
Pick a layout, and Zamilo shows its fields, including the rows of its portals (a product's suppliers, say). Match them to Zamilo's fields the same way as a spreadsheet import, then run the dry run to see what would be added or changed.
Keep the link
Zamilo keeps each FileMaker record's id on the products, suppliers, accounts and contacts it creates, so a second import updates the same records instead of making new ones. That lets you run FileMaker and Zamilo side by side for a while and import again before you switch over.
Pictures and history
Product pictures can follow by SKU, and older quotes and packing slips can be brought in as history so a customer's past orders are there on day one.
Every import is a batch you can undo from Import history.
